OCS Group has announced that Bob Taylor is to become its new UK chief executive from 1 April 2016.
Taylor is currently public sector, healthcare and infrastructure chief executive for the organization, but steps into his new role this month.
He joined OCS Group in April 2014 from G4S plc, where he was managing director of a £300 million business unit employing 7,500 people.
During his time with OCS, he has been the lead for a diverse business unit, with a specific remit to grow the company’s presence in public sector and healthcare. Key achievements include turning a number of business areas around, growing the healthcare business by 21 per cent, and playing a key role in restructuring OCS UK for the future.
Taylor’s appointment comes at the end of a two month-long strategic review period, which has resulted in two UK divisions being consolidated into a more streamlined organisational structure that puts customer requirements at the heart of the business.
He will be assisted by managing directors across a number of key sectors including education, healthcare, manufacturing, government, business and industry, leisure and retail.
