MTD Altrad Ltd is a scaffolding specialist that is located in the Black Country. The scaffolding company is currently going through a period of expansion by moving to larger premises. It is thought that this move will allow the company to increase their presence in the area.

The deal for MTD Altrad’s new premises was secured by Johnson Fellows the Chartered surveyors. The move will see the company take on a 10-year lease for a 40,000 sq. ft. newly refurbished industrial distribution unit. The new premises are located at the Logicor’s Junction 2 Industrial Estate. This Industrial estate is located near the M5 in Oldbury. This will be a really good location for the Scaffolding specialists.

The premises consist of two storeys of office accommodation that has been refurbished by the site landlords. The site will also provide the company with strategic advantages as the location will allow the occupiers of the site fast access to the motorway and other key road networks.

MTD Altrad Ltd are in the process of moving to their new location from the their Tividale depot as the company grows in order to meet the demands of the booming construction industry. The scaffolding company MTD Altrad Ltd is part of the Altrad Group.

The Industrial agency partner at Johnson Fellows, Mike Price worked on concluding the deal on behalf of the site owner and it has been suggested that the expansion of the scaffolding company is consistent with the overall strength of the construction sector, which is good news for everyone in the industry. The construction sector is continuing to grow and improve which is positive considering the current uncertain times in the UK markets. The news is also positive for the region, because the expanding companies means that there could be an increase number of jobs for the area.
