The University of Manchester has selected 17 more contractors as framework partners to undertake smaller contracts on its £1bn campus masterplan.
The university’s estates department has a 10-year plan for the campus, one of the largest in the higher education sector.
Last year it selected Balfour Beatty, Laing O’Rourke and Sir Robert McAlpine as its framework partners for major contracts worth more than £10m.
It has now selected contractors for works below £10m in value, divided into four lots by project size as set out below.
