Things To Sort Out When You Split From A Long-Term Relationship

There is normally a 30 day deadline.  If you are splitting from a long-term relationship it helps if you can already decide and agree on areas like :  What is going to happen to your children – whole will they live with, what will contact be, and how much is the other parent going to pay towards them?  What will happen to your finances?  What will happen to your property?  If you can’t come to an agreement, you may need to go to court so a judge can look at the facts and make a decision for you.
