The 3 Most Impressive Casino Buildings in The World

You can encounter impressive architecture where you least expect. Usually, city centers boast beautiful buildings with rich and complex histories, and the greatest architects such as Antoni Gaudi and Frank Lloyd Wright, are behind these human-made wonders. Within these astonishing structures, you might even find land-based casinos. Nowadays, despite the ever-growing popularity of online, top-notch gambling sites of the likes of Casino.online, land-based casinos remain quite frequented due to their atmosphere and rich interiors. Below, we explore three of the most remarkable casino buildings in the world. Monte Carlo Casino, Monaco Designed by legendary architect Charles Garnier, the opulent Monte Carlo casino has been recognized as one of the most beautiful casino buildings across the globe. The building itself was built during the Belle Epoque and preservers a clear influence from the era to this day.  What’s more, the casino’s style organically corresponds with Monaco’s local architecture as observed in its grounds, which include a French-style garden, several statues, and tropical flora.  The entirety of the casino and hotel complex are dressed in marble with slick tabletops, antique columns, and sophisticated chandeliers. To descend to the casino below the hotel, guests can use a unique marble staircase that will lead them to the various blackjack, roulette, and poker tables, as well as numerous slot machines.  Every inch of this outstanding casino evokes status, wealth, and adventure. So much so that several Hollywood productions have been filmed on the premises, including James Bond’s “Never Say Never Again” and “Golden Eye”.  Caesars Palace, Las Vegas Caesars Palace is also a world-famous casino with an extensive history. Ever since opening its doors in 1966, it has remained one of the go-to places to visit in Las Vegas.  As the name rightly suggests, the Caesars Palace’s architecture draws inspiration from ancient Rome as owner and designer Jay Sarno wishes for every guest to feel like a Caesar during their visit.  Nowadays, the casino boasts an oval form and marble columns with surrounding gold leaves. In the center, visitors can observe a twenty-foot-tall Julius Caesar. The Caesars Palace’s complex also includes a 141-foot fountain and a spa complex with baths and pools with mosaics in the Roman style.  Marina Bay Sands, Singapore Conceived by renowned architect Moshe Safdie, the Marina Bay Sands Casino complex is one of the most expensive casinos in the world. In fact, the budget for its construction is estimated to be around five billion dollars.  Not only does Marina Bay Sands rank among the most expensive casinos ever, but also among the biggest with an area of 845,000 square meters counting the three towers that are connected by a sky garden at their very top. Additionally, the atrium casino of this remarkable building is one of the biggest on earth with its hundreds of gaming tables and thousands of slot machines. To conclude We have gone over three of the most famous and remarkable casino buildings in the world. Even if you aren’t an avid gambler, these land-based casinos will certainly impress you with their astonishing architecture and make your visit worth the while.

The Secrets of Casino Design: An Inside Look

Casinos are entertainment hubs, from the non-stop games to the shopping, restaurants, bars, hotels, swimming pools, and live music shows. There is nothing that the best casinos can’t offer. How do these places keep us engaged and wandering around for hours? Well, of course, everything we just listed has a lot to do with it, but there is also something else at play. Clever layouts, subliminal messaging and positioning of services, and thought-out strategies to keep the public inside the doors and spending money. It’s clever, and you may not have ever considered it, which is the casino designers’ main objective! Brick and mortar casinos are different from online gaming sites like AmazonSlots Casino, where there is unlimited space and games to play. It takes a lot more planning to maximise the entertainment for all customers. Casino Layout If you think about it, the casino invites all types of players, from highrollers to casual players to beginners and those who are only there for the other entertainment. How does the casino keep everyone happy and engaged? The answer is a clever use of game positioning. You will notice the red-roped games for VIPS and highrollers are hidden away from the rest of the games. Easy access with no obstacles such as bars and shops, the casino wants to get these players to the table as quickly as possible, without disruptions. The layout for the other games is a lot more haphazard. This is intentional. You will find different games next to each other, designed to keep players moving from one game to the next. Don’t be surprised to find shops, bars, and eateries dotted around the casino floor. Anything to keep people inside the playing area, spending money, and having fun. Casinos used to cram the games onto the floor, but modern casinos have turned the page making the experience much friendlier. High ceilings, more walking space, and a more “playground” concept over the “maze” design help players feel more welcome and comfortable. Clever Mind Tricks The layout of slot machines is one thing that extends to something that can only be described as “mind games”. The old row layout of classic casinos such as The Golden Nugget was not exactly social. However, the cluster design you now see in modern casinos makes everything and everyone a lot more socially active. It makes it easier for people to wander the floors, watch big wins, and enjoy more of a “togetherness” feeling with other players. Another little trick up the sleeves of casinos is not putting up any clocks or ways to view the time. Combine the absence of clocks with zero windows, and you have no idea what time of the day it is (unless you check your phone, but why would you when you are deep in the excitement of roulette or a winning slot spin!). You could be in there for hours and find yourself walking out a 6am, thinking it was 12am. It’s a sneaky strategy, but it clearly works as people enjoy themselves, and of course, they spend their money to line the casino pockets even more!

The Top 5 Most Luxurious Casinos in the World

What is the first image that pops up in your head, when you think about casinos? Probably, these attracting slot machines that light up dozens of colors. And what would be the first place that you would think of if you got asked about a luxurious casino to visit? There is a high chance that you would name Las Vegas with its hundreds of casinos of all types, where everyone can find something to their taste. Fair enough, because it is tacitly considered to be the center of the casino world – a place of luxury, gamble, and both happy and sad moments. Las Vegas might be a must-visit for many, but we may all agree on one thing – it has become somewhat, a cliché, since we’ve seen it so many times in the movies, travel shows and so on. Now, let’s explore the world of new, up-to-date abodes of the elite. Marina Bay Sands in Singapore Apart from being a high-end hotel for those, who opt for palatial accommodation, impeccable service and extensive facilities, this building in the shape of three columns with a giant ship on the top, also has a grand casino. It possesses more than 2,000 slot machines and around 500 tables for gaming.  After an evening at this paradise of gambling, you can have a swim at the rooftop pool with a view, which covers the whole city. Even Gclub Casino with their famous slot games can’t compete with that luxury. The Venetian in Macao, China More than 500k square feet space, full of gambling tables and slot machines – pure pleasure for gamblers. What’s more, this place has multiple replicas of Venice’s most popular tourist attractions, including canals! Yes, you heard it right, you can have a boat ride down the canals right inside the building, what a wonder. You can see lots of such things in many casinos of Asian region. If you are a parent, you won’t have to worry about bringing your child in, since there is a big area for kids, where they can play and simply have some good time, interacting with their peers. Casino de Monte Carlo in Monaco This casino is one of the most luxurious and popular out there. It is an embodiment of luxury and wealth, so if you want to approach that lifestyle even if for a day, pay a visit to this wonderful place. You may also stop by the cars, parked at the entrance, to see what are the latest trends in the motor industry. Sun City in South Africa The name of the casino itself, suggests us that spending some time there may result in the highest pleasure. Surrounded by one of the most beautiful national parks in South Africa, this casino provides its visitors with a real African experience. Once you see this place, with its large pool and all of the attractions the casino has to offer, you won’t regret travelling this far. The Kurhaus of Baden-Baden in Germany One of the oldest casinos in the world is located alongside a high-end SPA resort. Even though this casino can’t boast of its grandiose size, it has a lot of other things to offer, otherwise Marlene Dietrich wouldn’t entitle it as the most beautiful casino in the world. The chandeliers, the furniture – all has the smell of luxury.

Building Enthusiasm: MGM Cotai, Macau

In February 2018, MGM Cotai opened in Macau; however, it wasn’t a finished product at that time. In August 2019, MGM Cotai added to its mix, a theatre, additional restaurants, VIP gaming areas and other non-gaming amenities. Besides, when the Mansion opened in early 2019, the whole facility started to move on all cylinders. Like its cousin from Las Vegas, the Mansion caters to the most prominent gaming venue, and just like in Las Vegas, there is no map on the property. Entertainment & Relaxation to the Next Level The Mansion is designed in such a way that it is tucked away from prying eyes and assures privacy for its special guests. The venue features 27 ultra-luxury villas that range from 215 square meters to 570 square meters. All of the villas come with dining lounges, balconies and separate entrances, and elevators that give direct access to the rooms. The Mansion offers 1.390 guestrooms and suites that include 1.248 standard rooms, 99 suites, and 16 Skylofts, besides the 27 Mansion Villas. The casino features approximately 175 table games, such as poker, roulette, blackjack, and around 1.500 slot machines. Other amenities include meeting and convention space, a ballroom that can accommodate up to 1.000 people, and the property’s Sky Lounge that provide a meeting place for residents of Skylofts. Besides, the guest will also enjoy a high-end spa that features male, female, and VIP pools along with thermal experiences of Saltstone Saunas, Herbal Steam Rooms, and treatment rooms of Spa Heaven facilities. Business Opportunity The chairman and CEO of MGM Resorts, James Murren, said that with the opening of The Mansion, the company is becoming a significant player in the premium-mass market from Macau. He added that they needed everything up and running, and he told his investors that The Mansion is open, and all the villas are now available. The received answer was definite, and the venue helped them move into another segment that was hard before. The Mansion helped to add value to that segment. The CEO of MGM Cotai, Grant Bowie, said that The Mansion has a special significance for the property, and they are excited to see that MGM Cotai ramped upwards. The venue offers exclusive luxury, which is the next level and helps the company in the premium segment. Murren added that because of The Mansion, they could continue to grow the premium mass segment while also boosting the Macau market share. All they want is to focus on making sure that the final product is right. Innovative Design Because of the design, MGM Cotai continues to receive international kudos. Kohn Pedersen Fox designed the building and won the top spot in the Emporis Skyscraper Award program. Besides, MGM Cotai, the enormous casino-hotel-resort in Macau, has been designed in collaboration with Wong Tung & Partners Ltd and was selected as the best new tall building by the jurors. The judges also cited that MGM Cotai has an innovative design. They said that the unique structure is based on the idea of nine Chinese jeweller’s boxes stacked upon each other and can form two interconnected towers. The asymmetrical design and gold colouring can create a dynamic and glamorous appearance, which fits the Macau atmosphere. Also, the MGM Cotai is offering the Spectacle, which is a multi-functional area with the world’s largest free-span, grad-shaped glass roof. In other words, MGM Cotai has a glittering jewel-like facade that towers over the Cotai Strip, and MGM Cotai is Macau’s icon of innovation. Visitors are invited to step inside a cutting-edge, multi-sensory realm where they can discover Asia’s first genuinely adaptive and dynamic theatre. Or, immerse themselves in the mesmerizing Spectacle. This atrium is significant as a football pitch where they can admire one of the world’s largest sensory digital art collections on display. Visitors can also experience nine unique restaurants and bars, sophisticated retail, and engaging offerings.  Digital Art Collection of the Spectacle In the heart of MGM Cotai, there is an immersive multi-sensory experience that uses innovative technology and living artistry that showcases unparalleled natural wonders. The Spectacle has a space that breathes with life beneath the glass canopy, which continues to evolve, grow, and respond to change with direct visitor interaction, weather, time of day, and seasons. The result is a captivating experience. Within the Spectacle, there is the world’s largest area of permanent LED screens that showcase an exclusive array of digital art collected from the world. It is also the setting platform for world-renowned artists and photographers such as Joel Sartore, Madga Indigo, Garth Willians, Rob Kesseler and Wolfgang Stuppy. The Spectacle is a combination of nature, art, music, language, and culture that inspires guests to perceive the world around them in a rational way. The Spectacle also has an indoor garden called Nature’s Art, where it holds over 2.000 species and over 100.000 plants that are native to Macau, Mainland China, and 18 other countries. The value of the plants is embraced; it doesn’t matter if it is rare or common. Here, with the aid of seed banks based in Hong Kong and Europe, extinct species were brought back to life. For The Love of Nature & Art The interior landscape of Nature’s Art looks like a natural landscape that evolves by perpetuating changing textures, colours, and even scents that allow these works of art to inspire anew. Minghu Nerval designed Nature’s Art, and through the deliberate use of botany, horticulture, and design, the place is a journey of history, culture, and art. Besides, the art doesn’t stop here. MGM Cotai has an Art Discovery where visitors are invited to step into spectacular and wonder through their guided art tours. The art features at MGM Cotai are available on request every day, and they can be arranged at the hotel’s lobby. Art enthusiasts are invited to admire a multitude of abstract paintings, sculptures, tapestries, photographs, and graphics.

Asia set for huge casino developments over the next few years

The casino industry continues to expand rapidly in Asia, with Japan set to be the next major country to enter the sector. With gambling operators enjoying huge success courtesy of lavish resorts in Singapore, Macau and elsewhere, it is no surprise to see significant further investment planned in the region over the next few years. The rapid growth of online casinos in Japan sparked a clamour amongst consumers for brick and mortar venues to be allowed to open across the country. The Japanese government subsequently reacted to the calls by agreeing to allow new casinos to be constructed at up to three different locations. Tokyo, Hokkaido, Chiba, Yokohama and Nagoya are amongst the cities vying to host what could be the most stunning casino resorts on the continent. There have been some truly staggering venues built in Asia over the past few years and Japan can be expected to follow suit when construction begins. Read on as we look at the latest state of play regarding major casino developments across the Asian continent. Iconic Singapore venue set for huge expansion Owned by the Las Vegas Sands organisation, the Marina Bay Sands resort is undoubtedly one of the most iconic properties in Asia. The three-tower design, which was inspired by decks of cards, originally cost $5.5 billion to build but its owners are not resting on their laurels. The operator is planning to add an impressive arena, exhibition halls and a new luxury hotel tower that will take the total number of rooms to more than 3,600. Las Vegas Sands believe that the $3.3bn investment will keep the resort at the pinnacle of the gambling industry over the coming years. While the casino is a hugely important part of Marina Bay Sands, experts believe that the provision of other facilities will ensure it remains a successful venture for years to come. Operators plan massive investment in Macau Having generated Gross Gaming Revenues of nearly $38bn in 2018, Macau is firmly established as one of the most important gambling destinations in the world. Many of the main operators there are planning major new developments over the next few years, with a view to ensuring that the government issues new licenses to them when they expire in 2022. Galaxy Entertainment is leading the way with plans to expand the stunning Galaxy Macau over the next couple of years at a projected cost of HK$45bn. SJM Holdings are also planning major investment in Macau, with the Grand Lisboa Palace scheduled to open during the second half of 2020 at a cost of HK$36bn. MGM Resorts International, Wynn Resorts and Melco Resorts & Entertainment have also confirmed ambitious expansion plans in the region. NagaCorp ready to cash in on monopoly in Cambodia NagaCorp Ltd’s position of dominance in Cambodia is set to continue with another expansion of its superb NagaWorld casino resort in Phnom Penh. Naga 3 will feature a theme park with the latest digital rides and attractions, plus world class shopping, restaurants and much more. The venue will be the largest resort in Cambodia, further cementing NagaCorp’s status as one of the biggest casino operators in the world. The company currently has a 41-year gaming monopoly within a 200-kilometre radius of the Cambodian capital that runs through until 2035. Their gaming license runs for a further 30 years after that, and their latest multi-billion dollar investment in the area highlights their ongoing commitment to remain at the forefront of the industry in the region.

How Modern Technology Has Improved The Construction Industry

Apart from modern technology having a positive effect on our environment, online gaming and even the great introduction of NoviBet, it has also had an improved effect within the construction industry and the results have been lifesaving. The world is expanding; the need for more resources increasing and the construction industry busier than it has ever been before. This has made it necessary for construction workers to reap the benefits of the very thing that has made it necessary for more buildings, malls, hotels and the like; modern tech. Taking a look under the hood of modern tech shows us why and how it has played a positive role within the inner workings of every scenario involving construction and buildings. Safety and Security The use of modern tech has reshaped the construction industry in terms of workers safety and security. Construction work is incredibly hazardous and workers have even been known to receive danger pay, more money for more life threatening tasks. Imagine operating from the very top of a scaffold, or imagine working on constructing the world’s tallest buildings facing severe weather conditions. Modern technology has allowed for the manufacturing of tools and equipment which have the ability to reach the same heights that humankind can. Rather than risking a life, tools can be used to do the work of men and women. Speed Unlike living in the 1800’s or even two decades ago, buildings are constructed faster than they ever have been in the past. Not only are buildings quicker to piece together but more workers can be employed and put onto a manageable payroll. Being able to manage and hire more staff reduces the time it takes to build these sites. Efficient The use of modern tech has also enables us to build more energy efficient buildings thanks to the use of solar panels and greener building. As the planet is continuously striving to improve or living conditions to benefit the environment, building demands become more necessary rather than wanted. Using Construction scheduling software also helps increase speed and risk management at your job site. With a good software package, you can achieve a 75% increase in execution certainty and a 40% increase in planning efficiency. Along with the ability to schedule and analyze your project’s risk in real-time and better understand the possible outcomes of the project, you’ll be armed with everything you need for the most efficient construction project you’ve been involved with yet. Software and Mobile Applications The software solutions that have been developed for the intended purpose of building developments and construction includes mobile accessibility which allows users to garner a better understanding of what is required for the project. For example, preconstruction and scheduling can be streamlined into a productive projection which is necessary to determine the length and the difficulty of constructing modern and efficient buildings. Being a mobile application, users are usually allowed to edit and change docs with all changes being made in real time for a more accurate prediction of what is to be expected in terms of constructing what is desired. As modern tech progresses and changes, we know it is heading into a more positive era than it currently stands in today. This gives many something to look forward to while benefiting from the positive aspects of this tech. Construction and building is necessary to keep our economy efficient, but we need to keep our environment safe also and modern tech allows for this.

Hard Rock: Designing The Casino

The Hard Rock brand is stretching its arms from Atlantic City to Japan. It’s main inspiration? Music. Most of their designs are based on rhythms and structures of sound by interpreting them into physical forms and materials. Designing for Hard Rock means adding the music inspiration through cafe’s to hotels and casinos. Hard Rock International and Rivals Hard Rock International from Atlantic City is one of the fine examples of adding the sound structures of Hard Rock brand. Before the building passed to Hard Rock, it once belonged to Trump. The failing building used to be called Trump Taj Mahal. Hard Rock was able to change the whole structure of the building, giving an aspect of guitar chords. The commitment from Hard Rock was so big that they redone the property from minarets on the roof to the plumbing in the hotel rooms. Jim Allen, CEO of Hard Rock International mentioned that when people arrive at the property, they will notice that there are no ties that lead to the previous owner. Now, Hard Rock International is fitted out with traditional Hard Rock musical souvenirs and the venue is organising live entertainment almost every night. The casino is also making a presence with its slots and table games. Jim Allen also added that Hard Rock International is the second largest gaming zone from the U.S. He also added that the new Gov. Phil Murphy and the new Atlantic City Mayor Frank Gilliam were a pleasure to work with, as well as with the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority and the former Gov. Chris Christie. On the Boardwalk, Hard Rock’s rival is Ocean Resort, which opened around the same time like Hard Rock. However, Ocean Resorts doesn’t have the spectacular performance like the music-themed casino. In addition, Ocean Resort is another property that demonstrates how important it is to impressively design a property. Ocean Resort is a revamped building from the former Revel Casino Hotel. The main design aspect of Ocean Resort seems to be one of the seas, the venue is covered in full glass that reflects the blue sky. In addition, both megaresorts affects the viability of the Atlantic City area, although Hard Rock may be considered one of the strongest approvals in gaming. The company stays firmly as an entertainment firm. Thus, Hard Rock International had in its first year over 300 events, all of them achieving everyone’s taste. Jim Allen said that the venue had over 28 million, of social media impressions. The hotel was packed with entertaining events like Kelly Clarkson concert, country acts, rock ‘n roll acts, Sugar Factory, and of course, the world-famous Hard Rock Cafe. Even though the CEO of Hard Rock International praises the hotel, it is unlike to surpass the MGM Resorts International Borgata. Borgata is not only known because of MGM’s name. The casino was heavily involved in art exhibitions, like Pop-Up art gallery, Contemporary Glass Art and others. Today, the hotel has a music venue, which can be converted in Borgata Ballroom, a special event for diners, training or business presentation. The hotel also has a Festival Park, used during summer, a music box which can also be Borgata Theatre, designed for meetings and presentations. At Borgata Theatre, the comedian Lewis Black performed his ninth stand-up comedy in 2013. The remaining artistic event that the hotel continues is based on martial arts. The design of the hotel consists of a main tower, which is the third tallest building in Atlantic City, visible from many miles due to its facade of reflective gold glass. The architectural firms, Marnell Corrao Associates of Las Vegas, Philadelphia’s Bower Lewis and Thrower Architects (BLT) worked on the project. The main tower stands 431 ft. tall and contains up to almost 2000 guest rooms and suites. MGM Resorts International Borgata is twice as Hard Rock and Tropicana. Hard Rock is a newcomer and is sitting pretty on the charts, while the Ocean Resort has slipped into last place. Jim Allen explains that Hard Rock tries to position itself as an entertainment destination and that has certainly worked very well for them. Hard Rock Hollywood Together with the power of Hard Rock, Florida’s Seminole Tribe has been drastically redoing two of its Hard Rock properties in the Sunshine State. Hard Rock Hollywood is one of the properties that has a massive expansion. The property is already iconic with its 638 hotel rooms tower, which is in a shape of a guitar body. The Hard Rock locations are known on a global level, for their guitar element, whatever it’s a part of a facade or the design itself. The desired design theme is still going strong after 40 years. Hard Rock Hollywood is expanding the gambling capacity, with 3000 slot machines, 192 table games and a poker room with 46 seats. In addition, 30 new additional restaurants, bars, and lounges are added, together with a new entertainment venue, a full-service spa and a three pool aquacade. The top beam of the hotel is the signature of the Seminole tribe from Brighton, Immokalee, Big Cypress and Hollywood. The new convention space will also characterize the revamped casino. The dramatically refashioned look will debut in autumn 2019. Hard Rock Tampa Another project that doesn’t have to be overlooked is the Hard Rock Tampa. Hard Rock Tampa is a massive casino overhaul. It has 5000 slot machines and 200 table games. The tribe behind this casino pride themselves with the idea that Tampa is for economic investment and during and after its development, it will offer around 6000 jobs. In other terms, Hard Rock Tampa will have a 15-story tower added. The tower will handle 564 hotel rooms with private elevators for rock-star suites. Like at Hard Rock Hollywood, Tampa will also have three ultra-lavish pools, the area is the size of a football terrain which will be covered and will also feature a dedicated restaurant. The existing spa will be replaced by a more extravagante one, the restaurants will
