White Brasserie Company Continues Expansion

Savills, on behalf of The White Brasserie Company, has acquired the leasehold of The Village Hall in Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire for an undisclosed fee.

The public house is a detached, two storey building which can house up to 110 customers inside, along with a further 150 in the beer garden and external spaces.

The property is situated on the edge of Gold Hill Common and has operated as an independent public house for the last decade.

At present, the White Brasserie Company has 11 venues in Greater London, Cheshire, Hertfordshire and Surrey, all of which offer a combination of French Brasserie and traditional English pub. The Village Hall is now set to benefit from an extensive refurbishment under its new ownership.

Savills Licensed Leisure Director, Chris Bickle, explained that he was pleased to have secured the sale of The Village Hall.

“[The Village Hall] offers a sought after location in The Chalfonts and a customer base well-aligned with The White Brasserie Company.  The licensed leisure market has seen increased activity in the regions around London and the M25, and we expect this trend to continue.”

Meanwhile, Brasserie Bar Co (the group behind The White Brasserie Company and Brasserie Blanc) Chief Executive, Mark Derry, said that they were delighted to have found a pub with such great potential in a perfect setting.

Derry added: “Each pub we open has its own special character and ambience and we are excited to revitalise this site and make it a much loved venue for locals and visitors.”

Meanwhile, Savills has acquired a 200 strong property consultancy firm with an office in Leeds.

GBR Phoenix Beard also has offices in London and Birmingham, with its clients including Bruntwood, Calthorpe Estates and M&G. its 205 staff will join Savills with immediate effect.

The combined group will have a particularly strong offering in the property management sector, as well as building surveying and investment.
