Shetland FM wins three-year catering deal with BP

30 March 2016 | Herpreet Kaur Grewal

Facilities company Shetland FM has won a three-year catering contract with major oil company BP.

The company will provide meals at its Sella Ness site for BP staff and contractors.

Shetland FM has experience providing hotel services, recreation and welfare, security and logistics. It took control of the operation and management of Sella Ness in February 2015.

Since Shetland FM began running the Sella Ness site, it has expanded its operations in the islands and is developing business in other areas of the world.

In addition to Sella Ness, now refurbished and home to Petrofac and Total engineers working on final commissioning of the Shetland Gas Plant, Shetland FM leases the former Viewforth care home from Shetland Islands Council.

Shetland FM also recently signed a partnership agreement with Shetland Islands Council Active Schools to allow its recreation and welfare staff to help sports and community groups.
