Savills has announced the appointment of director Jon Gardiner as head of national office agency with effect from 1st June 2016. Jon takes over the role from Jeremy Bates who will continue to head up national business space agency and occupier services alongside his other responsibilities on the UK Executive board, European ExCom and linkage with Savills Studley to further develop the firm’s worldwide occupier services offer.
Jon joined Savills as a graduate in 1998 and became part of the South East office agency team in 2000, working alongside Jeremy he has advised on a number of high profile instructions in the region including Chiswick Park, SEGRO’s Bath Road scheme in Slough, Ruskin Square, Croydon and Station Hill in Reading.
Savills national business space agency team has continued to grow and has strengthened its 15 teams with a number of recent appointments across the country in Aberdeen, Glasgow, Manchester, Oxford and Chelmsford. Richard Sullivan will remain head of national industrial agency and will work alongside Jon, reporting into Jeremy as divisional head.
