First Residents Move in Brockworth Housing Development

Bellway has welcomed the first residents to a new housing development in Brockworth. The developer is delivering 135 homes at Millbrook Grove, off Mill Lane in the village, including a mix of two, three, four and five-bedroom properties. There will be 99 houses for private sale and 36 affordable homes for local people through shared ownership or rent.

“The first residents at Millbrook Grove are now settling into their homes and we look forward to introducing them to more of their new neighbours as construction work progresses at the development. As more people move in, we will begin to see a new community taking shape,” said Dan Shone, Sales Manager for Bellway Wales.

Millbrook Grove, which is located on the north-eastern edge of Brockworth, forms part of the wider Perrybrook scheme which will bring 1,500 new homes, extra-care housing, new sports facilities, a community hub, shops, employment land and public space to the area.

Visitors to the Brockworth development can look around two showhomes that are part of Bellway’s flagship Artisan Collection. The collection is a range of house styles developed after decades of customer feedback to combine traditional craftsmanship with modern construction techniques to produce top quality homes.

“There has been an extremely high demand for the homes at Millbrook Grove. We are delivering a wide range of properties that are appealing to a mix of people, including first-time buyers, professionals, downsizers and growing families. Anyone that needs to commute will be attracted by the development’s convenient location just seven miles from Cheltenham and five miles from Gloucester, with easy access to the M5 which means that Bristol, Worcester and Birmingham can all be reached within about an hour,” added Dan.

“The two showhomes from the Artisan Collection, which have been fully dressed by our team of expert interior designers, are proving very popular. The opening of the showhomes means that our sales team can not only answer any questions buyers may have about the houses on offer but they can let them experience first-hand how it might look to live in one of the homes on the development.”

A selection of four-bedroom houses are currently available, with prices starting from £494,995.
