Frankham Consultancy Group Limited is pleased to announce that Steve Frankham, Chairman, has been awarded an MBE in the 2017 Queen’s Birthday Honours list for services to the community.

The award was made in recognition of Steve’s unwavering commitment to supporting diversity and inclusion amongst his staff and through his charitable work to aid young people, adults and those with disabilities.  Steve’s charity work stems from his personal understanding of children with special needs.

Steve, having established the Frankham Consultancy Group in 1984, a diverse organisation with over 150 staff, helped to provide a platform to further his charitable and community work.  Steve’s aim was always to be an equal and diverse employer with an emphasis on people and innovation. This is still highlighted today in the company’s strap line “bringing ideas to life”.

By using his influence in business and the community Steve realised how this could help raise awareness for children and adults with disabilities and special needs. Since the inception of the charity it has gone from strength to strength.

The charity has pledged to purchase 100 mini buses for schools and organisations that are in need of transportation. So far The Trust has donated 15 mini buses to local schools and various organisations to transport disabled children & adults. The Charity has also raised over £1.2m and more importantly it has raised awareness amongst local businesses to support these worthy causes.

Speaking about his award, Steve said:

I am absolutely delighted to have been awarded an MBE. Being recognised for something that you are passionate about is very humbling, however, none of this would be possible without a wonderful team of individuals who have worked so hard over many years supporting my vision to help those less fortunate than ourselves.
“I feel very honoured to have received this recognition and hope that it will help bring to people’s attention the real need for us all to do our best by supporting those who are often forgotten in today’s society and to help create real change in the lives we touch”
