It is the company’s third batching plant and has capacity to mix more than 50 m3 per hour.
Eastern Concrete was set up by Tom Baker in 2002 with headquarters in Stowmarket. It runs a fleet of 30 volumetric and ready-mix trucks as well as two Cifa concrete pump trucks.
In 2012 it acquired the two ready-mixed concrete plants of Allen Newport in Fornham Park, Bury St Edmunds and Waterbeach, Cambridge.
